Tour Guide and Regulations
Throughout the excursion, our Vatican authorized tour guide will accompany the travelers. The guide is sincere and supportive, and always ready to help you with any questions or needs throughout your travels.
Before you enter, the guide will first ensure that the visitors have fast-tracked entry to the Vatican Museum. Since the Vatican has updated its policies based on the pandemic, expect some restrictions. You can use skip-the-line if the queue seems too lengthy and time-consuming. However, you will need an early reservation for this offer.
Finally, the tour guide will then explain the rules and regulations for the Vatican, founded by Pope Julius (2nd) in the sixteenth century.
Established in 1506, the Vatican Museum was one of the centerpieces of the cultural and artistic revolution that was the Renaissance. It is filled with tens of thousands of different works of art, which is only a few compared to what’s not on display. Gaze upon many marvelous arts, tapestries, and architectures, that have decorated the museum from the Renaissance to even further back into the Roman period. And is worked on by world-famous painters, from Leonardo Da Vinci to Raphael to Michaelangelo.
The Raphael Rooms consists of four chambers where the namesake artist worked on his famous frescoes. Also known collectively as the Stanze, Rich with frescoes made by the titular Raphael, these rooms host only some of the best wall decorations that were created during the Renaissance period.
The Sistine Chapel hosts the beautiful crafts of many dedicated artists. But it is mostly dominated by the incredible handiwork of another renowned renaissance painter, Michaelangelo. His wall paintings and frescos including, The Last Judgement, The Creation of Adam, and many others can be viewed on the ceilings and the interior of this place.
Saint Peter’s Basilica is notable enough for being the largest Church in the world (by interior’s measurement), having the world’s tallest dome, and being one of the four churches that are ranked as Major Basilica. It is witness to many events such as the Papacy, and the Protestant reformation. This beautifully crafted building also hosts several treasured artifacts like Michaelangelo’s Pieta and Cathedra Petri.
Saint Peter’s Square is named after the first Pope and apostle of Jesus, Saint Peter. This historic plaza had seen the most visible renovations throughout the medieval period of Rome’s history.
All the while, our tour guide will inform you about the history behind these famous artworks, their conceptions, why and how they are significant to the authorities who approved them, and the artists who created them. You will also learn the religious and spiritual significance behind each of these works.

- Students below 25 years of age must bring valid IDs.

- The Vatican mandated policies include strict dress codes. So please refrain from wearing shorts, miniskirts, skirts, sleeveless tops, or anything that bares your shoulders or knees.
- Due to strict Covid-19 policies, you will be required to show proof of being vaccinated before traveling to any sites. Unless you are under 12 years old or have any conditions that exempt you from vaccination. Masks are also mandatory for all visitors.
- Heavy baggage, including backpacks and baby strollers, will not be allowed in.
