Rome Walking Group Tour Details

Travel with us across Rome with this Combo Tour as we visit some of the most exquisite sites in this city’s history. This is our cheapest tour of the bunch, and it lets you join a crowd of fellow admirers of Rome’s history, in checking out these iconic landmarks.

You will be accompanied by our expert and friendly tour guide, who is ready to provide you with knowledge and necessary support all the way.

Your journey will begin by discovering the Flavian Amphitheater, also known as the Colosseum. Created midway through the first century by Emperor Nero, the Colosseum was known for hosting gladiator tournaments, animal hunts, and other ancient sports.

The next part will take you to the open-air museum of Palatine Hill. Also known as “The first nucleus of the Roman Empire.” it’s believed that Romulus and Remus, the mythical founders of Rome, were adopted here by the she-wolf, Lupa. It bore witness to many iconic historical moments, like the birth of Emperor Augustus and the end of Emperor Caligula.

The Roman Forum is your next stop, once the heart of the great Roman Republic, and later, the Roman Empire. Enjoy the sights of the temples and basilica as you learn how it grew from a humble marketplace to one of the most intricate centerpieces of religious, commercial, and political activities of our civilization. And how it created and shaped some of the most influential figures of history, including Gaius Julius Ceaser.

Afterward, following a brief ride, as you reach the beautiful Trevi Fountain. Constructed in 1762, this fountain is named after the three streets that intersect here. It is also popular for customary “coin tossing” practices.

Finally, our journey will end at the Spanish Steps, a 135 step stairway built as a diplomatic gesture, and encompasses some of the notable landmarks, as well as the interesting history behind how it was formed.
